Welcome to the United Way of Charles County's website, and thank you for visiting us online.
LIVE UNITED. This is a phrase that you will see and hear from many United Ways across the nation. And just like those other United Ways, the United Way of Charles County is committed to LIVE UNITED in our community.
We encourage you to LIVE UNITED by GIVING, ADVOCATING, AND VOLUNTEERING.
You can GIVE your donations to help those in the community who are less fortunate than you. You can help us ADVOCATE for programs such as Health Insurance for everyone, getting the information and referral line 2-1-1 established in every county in Maryland, and help to establish financial stability programs for those in our communities who need help and education to put their lives together and be self sufficient. You can VOLUNTEER to strengthen our community by giving your time to work for others, either on your own schedule, or during our annual Day of Caring.
Our United Way is committed to investing in the basics that help build a good life -- Education, Income and Health. If we educate those less fortunate to help them earn an income to be self-sufficient, they will then be able to take care of themselves and help raise healthier families. These are the basic life principles that we all strive to achieve.
By joining us in our efforts, we can all help to make our community a better, healthier place in which to live.

Join with us to LIVE UNITED.
